Child and television
There is a lot of debate about how television affects the child's psyche, but still most scientists are inclined to believe that this influence is bad. Children are very impressionable by nature, and everything they see or hear is usually perceived much more vividly by them than by us adults. That is why our children are the most grateful audience for blue screens, they absorb absolutely everything that is broadcast from the screens like foam sponges, indiscriminately, without filtering, on "what is good and what is bad."
By absorbing the stream of sounds and images from the screen, children receive in return:
- not only general body fatigue, but also severe overexcitation, which subsequently interferes with restful sleep, worsens mood and behavior.
- allows the child to take a passive position in relation to his leisure time. There is no longer a need to do anything in your free time, just press the button on the TV remote control, and it will show a lot of seemingly interesting things, which leads to laziness, obesity, and stupefaction.
- The child is also able to lose his sense of reality after watching his favorite characters fall from skyscrapers, get up, shake themselves off and run on about their business. A small child with a small amount of knowledge begins to believe that everyone can really do THIS.
- The frequent change of moving pictures does not allow the child to concentrate, thereby only attracting more attention. But such a focus on all kinds of garbage, for example, advertising, can only lead to a decrease in the processes of cognition of the world, because they take much more time than the videos can demonstrate.
- There is a dependence in the endless absorption of information, which leads to a decrease in interest in everything around.
It's probably only the lazy who don't talk about the need for parents to limit their children's stay in front of the TV, but it's absolutely impossible to achieve complete isolation, given that we still live in a world of the latest technologies. BUT there is one wonderful remedy for this scourge of our time - communication with parents. No TV show can ever replace it. As often as possible, modern parents need to take care of their children, spend joint weekends outside the apartment and sofa, and find some common activities within the apartment that are interesting for all family members, for example, any needlework, any games, board and outdoor. Such things not only unite such an important unit of society as the family, but also allow children to develop, reflect, think, love and be loved.
